Saks Golko Studio is a creative partnership formed by Melissa Saks and Greg Golko in Northern California.
Borne from a desire to provide high-quality photography and creative services normally only available in larger markets, SGS prides itself on offering unparalleled expertise and craftsmanship to businesses in Northern California and beyond. Utilizing a skillset honed over decades of work at some of the best agencies and production houses in the world, SGS values collaborating with brands that, like itself, are looking to Do Cool Shit That Matters.
A northern California native, but New Yorker at heart, Melissa has worked at some of the best ad agencies in the world including Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, Oregon, and Grey in New York. Over the past decade and a half, she has partnered with a range of prestigious brands including Samsung, Facebook, Nestlé, and P&G, building global campaigns that create results. A natural wine enthusiast and unabashed stamp collector, Melissa also runs a small online vintage shop called Chez Nous.

Born in New Jersey, schooled at NYU’s iconic Tisch Film & TV program, and seasoned in New York, Greg cut his teeth working in commercial production for almost a decade with mega brands including Miller High Life, Carlsberg, and Red Lobster. Since moving west in 2018, he has focused on creating content across industries including homewares, hospitality, beauty, wine, and jewelry. A battle-worn Mets fan, Greg can also be found rooting for Liverpool FC and honing his pizza-making skills.
